Into Film, the UK’s leading charity for film, TV and games in education, ran a ScreenWorks scriptwriting programme in Pancake Studios multipurpose green room.

Future Screenwriters

Stuart Drennan led a group of aspiring scriptwriters, teaching them the fundamentals of the craft and how to work together in a writers room. Was just fantastic to see the next generation of writing talent not only make great friends, but also hone their craft in a professional setting. Seeing the students come out of their shells and collaborate, was a great energy to have around the studios.

By the end of the four day workshop the teens had a true professional experience that will set them up for a career in the screen industry. We are truly blessed to have such an amazing organisation like intoFilm running the ScreenWorks programmes in Northern Ireland. The programmes they run provide industry leading education and give the next generation of local filmmakers a voice through practical filmmaking.

Looking forward to having more ScreenWorks programmes in the studios and being a small part of shaping the future of film.
