All prices ex-VAT. Drop-in is billed per day; memberships are billed monthly. Flexi adds a small per-visit charge on top of its monthly base.

A renovated creative hub on Limestone Road, ten minutes from Belfast city centre. Hot desks, premium desks, podcast studio, meeting room, green room, film studio. Built so you can pick the right room for the work, not the other way round.

Filmmakers, podcasters, theatre groups, photographers, freelance editors. The cross-pollination is the point — most of our work started as conversations in the kitchen. You bring your project; the room brings the rest.

Member discounts on podcast hire, equipment rental, and room booking — plus adjacency to Pancake's in-house team when the work scales up. Spaces and gear that would normally cost a freelancer a fortune.
FAQ
Yes. Memberships run month-to-month — you can cancel from your account page and you'll keep access until the end of your current billing period. No notice, no exit fee.
There's no automatic switch between tiers yet. To change tier, cancel your current membership from your account page — you'll keep access until the end of the billing period you've paid for — then resubscribe on the tier you want. If you'd rather we handle the switch, drop us a line and we'll sort it. We don't pro-rate mid-period.
Booking in advance is always encouraged to make sure there is a desk available for you. Walk-ins are accepted, but won't be able guarantee a desk on the day.
Yes — book a meeting room or hot desk for them as you would any drop-in. Members get the member discount on that booking. Quick coffee meetings in our communal area are fine without a booking.
Staffed access is 9–5, Monday to Friday. Unlimited members can request out-of-hours access (early morning starts, late editing sessions) on a case-by-case basis. We're not 24/7... yet.
Cameras, lenses, lighting kits, audio gear — the full Pancake equipment roster is available at member rates. The current catalogue is on the Equipment page; members get a 20% (Flexi) or 30% (Unlimited) discount on any rental. Our catalogue will continue to grow, so make sure to check in periodically.
Standard Unlimited and Premium Unlimited members get a locker included. Flexi and drop-in users can rent one separately. Lockers are roomy enough for a camera body + a lens or two — not for full grip kit.
All prices on this page are shown ex-VAT (exclusive of UK Value Added Tax, currently 20%). VAT is added at checkout. If you're VAT-registered you can reclaim it; if you're not, the total you pay is the listed price + 20%.
